Normally I’d consider this “cheating”, but I imagine there are some applications for this that just aren’t possible with normal (manual) carving. At $1899 it brings CNC into the realm of possibility for the average joe… but like anything that makes it easy for the average joe to get into areas that were normally reserved for talented folks, it will birth tons of “hand-carved” crap.
I’d love to see one in action, but they’re just not widely available yet.
