I’d never thought of it before, but the silhouette on the Wyoming license plate of a bronco rider is actually based on a real person. Albert “Stubby” Farlow (1886-1953) was born with short legs, but made his mark as a bronco rider, at least long enough to get his image plastered on every Wyoman’s car. I suppose it had to be someone. Why not Stubby? Would that you or I could get immortalized in tin.
